Pianist and composer Eric Mintel is the leader of the acclaimed Eric Mintel Quartet from Bucks County, PA featuring Eric Mintel on piano, Nelson Hill on alto sax, Dave Antonow on bass and Dave Mohn on drums. For their steady Wednesday at the Stockton Inn, Eric presents himself on piano and Dave Antonow on guitar performing the Great American songbook performing songs by Cole Porter, Gershwin, Brubeck and beyond. Join Eric and Dave every Wednesday from 7 to 9pm in the Garden Bar for light jazz to compliment your meal. Eric and Dave continue a tradition of classic jazz that has been a hallmark of the Stockton Inn over the years. They bring their high class style to a new generation. A soulful voice combined with a tremendous gift for songwriting with influences of Dylan, Springsteen and Neil Young, briz blends both pop sensibility and folk tradition to create lyrics that are uniquely memorable and music that is commercially accessible yet brutally poignant. He plays guitar, ukulele, and banjo and adds a bluesy style of harmonica to many of his songs. A relative newcomer to Americana music, briz has already shared the stage with such great acts as The Lovin' Spoonful, Gin Blossoms, The Band’s Jim Weider, Colleen Sexton, Small Potatoes, Leslie Ritter & Scott Petito, Bill Kirchen (lead guitarist for Commander Cody), Girls from Mars, and more!
